Opening its doors in 2006, the M&M's World flagship store in Times Square is one of only five M&M's flagship locations globally. Spanning three floors and covering around 2,500 square meters (nearly 27,000 square feet!), this store is so much more than just a place to buy colorful chocolate. It’s an immersive space filled with interactive designs and brand culture, transforming M&M's from a simple candy into a brand bursting with joy and childlike wonder. Even amidst the dazzling sea of neon lights in Times Square, the classic M&M-shaped colorful signs manage to steal the spotlight!

Stepping into M&M's World, the first thing that catches your eye is a massive Blue M&M character giving you a "YO" with a totally relatable, didn't-get-enough-sleep expression! 🤣

M&M's World boasts a total of three floors, each with a slightly different vibe! The first floor is where you'll find the New York-exclusive souvenirs. Head up to the second floor, and you'll discover the classic color wall alongside plenty of interactive installations—like the "Personalized Printer" where you can create your own custom M&M designs, and the incredibly fun "Mood Analyzer." Finally, the third floor features chocolate dispensers and a clearance merchandise area.

The classic M&M colors—Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, and Brown—all have their own dedicated merchandise displayed beautifully on a single, massive wall! We've actually seen this exact same awesome setup at M&M's World in Las Vegas too!

Purple is the newest character who just made her debut in 2022! The Purple M&M is a "confident, authentic, and inclusive" female character, representing diversity and modernity. While purple chocolates mainly appear in special editions or mixed bags right now and aren't a standard color just yet, the brand has officially added her to the lineup. You can even find adorable purple merchandise right here in the flagship store!

Beyond the classic bold colors, there are also some super cute, pastel-toned souvenirs to choose from!

For New York exclusives, you'll find T-shirts, mugs, and an adorable "I ❤️ NY" shaped clear box filled to the brim with M&M's chocolates!

Even the Big Apple, the ultimate symbol of New York, is stuffed with chocolate candies! If you look closely, the white M&M's are printed with "I ❤️ NY," while the red and blue ones feature "New York" in an elegant cursive script. Oh man, it's just too cute to eat!

The Green M&M dressed as the Statue of Liberty has finally made her appearance! Wearing the iconic radiant crown and holding the torch high in one hand, it's incredibly symbolic and such a quintessential New York find!

Up on the second floor, there's a giant Green M&M Statue of Liberty perfect for photo ops! The tablet she's holding in her left hand is inscribed with "JULY IV MDCCLXXVI." We looked it up and realized it's the Roman numerals for American Independence Day—July 4, 1776! While she might not be the real Lady Liberty, this is unmistakably the M&M that represents New York. Totally worth grabbing a picture with, right!?

The classic "Color Wall" that you'll find in every flagship store—but the one in New York is a staggering two stories high! Countless chocolate candies are neatly stacked in clear tubes: pink, white, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and all sorts of pre-mixed color combos! The chocolates here are sold by weight at $1.49 per ounce, so you can mix and match all your favorite colors. Even if you don't plan on buying any, this spectacular wall of chocolate makes for an epic photo backdrop!

Then there's the popular "Mood Analyzer"! Stand in front of the machine, and it will "scan" your mood, displaying your emotional state on the screen using M&M's colors—for example, red for excited, or blue for totally chill! It doesn't really matter if the results are accurate; the whole process is unexpectedly hilarious and therapeutic! It's such a fun and quirky interactive installation.

Besides the classic Green Statue of Liberty, there are various other colorful M&M characters scattered around for you to pose with!

They didn't even spare the walls! 🤣

While the third floor might not have the dramatic high ceilings, it still features its own awesome colorful chocolate wall!

An entire wall dedicated to chocolate dispensers! We actually caught them on sale for 15% off when we visited!

From the third floor, you can also get a great bird's-eye view looking down at the second-floor shopping area.

Inside the Times Square M&M's flagship store, beyond the endless flavors and packages of chocolate, you'll find tons of branded merch like T-shirts, mugs, coin purses, and kids' clothing. Paired with the fun interactive displays and highly photogenic characters, it's a fantastic, highly recommended family-friendly attraction in New York! Plus, with their incredibly long hours—staying open until 11 PM every single day—it's super easy to drop by.
