The Yellow Boats sightseeing tour is definitely one of our top recommendations! It’s a thrilling speedboat ride along the coastline that lets you take in Dubai Marina, the Burj Al Arab, and Atlantis all at once. Dubai's stunning coastline isn't just about the towering skyscrapers of Dubai Marina; it also features the iconic, sail-shaped Burj Al Arab and the magnificent Atlantis!

Blasting off from Dubai Marina at thrilling speeds of up to 166 km/h is an absolute rush! Beyond the excitement, if you're short on time and can't visit Dubai Marina, the Burj Al Arab, and Atlantis individually, seeing them all in one go from a speedboat is a fantastic choice!

We booked the 90-minute sunset tour! The official website also offers 75-minute and 60-minute options, but just a heads up: some of the 60 or 75-minute tours might skip Atlantis and/or the Burj Al Arab. You can find all the detailed itineraries on their site! However, we highly recommend booking in advance through Klook, as the prices are significantly cheaper than the official site—we got about a 25% discount! 👉🏻Klook Ticket Discount

After completing your booking, you'll receive an email with the meeting point details. The meeting spot is located right across from the Spinneys supermarket in Dubai Marina, and it's super easy to find on Google Maps!

Arrive at the meeting point about 20 minutes before your departure time. There's a ticket window where you can exchange your voucher. Once that’s sorted, the staff will guide you to board the boat, and then off you go!!!!

At the beginning, the boat cruises slowly within the marina at about 4 knots (22 km/h). Our guide gave a very detailed and engaging explanation of the stories behind the stunning buildings surrounding Dubai Marina!

Once you make it out of the bay, remember to hold on tight because it's time to accelerate!

They said we hit top speeds of 30 knots (about 166 km/h) — it was an absolute blast!

Amidst the collective screams of excitement from everyone on board, we arrived at Atlantis in no time!

We are so glad we took this tour! On the actual day we visited Atlantis, our schedule was completely packed, and we literally didn't have time to walk to the front of the hotel for a photo. (Further Reading: The Lost Chambers Aquarium in Atlantis, Aquaventure Waterpark, Atlantis Transport Guide)

From the speedboat, you get a crystal-clear, unobstructed view of Atlantis! Our guide then transformed into a professional photographer, helping each group take dedicated photos with Atlantis in the background~~

After everyone was happy with their photos, we moved on to our next spot: the Burj Al Arab! This was the only time during our entire Dubai trip that we got to see the back of the Burj Al Arab! Bathed in the glow of the setting sun, it was incredibly beautiful~~

Throughout the speedboat ride, we didn't just get the adrenaline rush of speeding across the water; our guide also shared the history and stories of all the buildings we passed in a very humorous and engaging way.

We learned that the Jumeirah Beach Hotel (pictured below) was actually the tallest building in all of Dubai when it was first built in 1997! Today, it doesn't even make the top list 😆~ It really shows just how insanely fast Dubai has developed!

Once every single person got their perfect shot, we prepared to head back.

We highly recommend choosing a sunset tour for your speedboat adventure. Not only does it save you from the scorching daytime heat, but you also get to enjoy a gorgeous sunset out on the sea!

The building on the far left in the photo below is the Cayan Tower, the world's tallest "twisting" tower, standing 75 stories high! The French "Spider-Man" famously climbed all the way to the roof in 2015 without any safety gear!!! (Please don't try this at home; Spider-Man is a trained professional 😆)

We don't necessarily love every single Klook tour we book. On this Dubai trip, we joined three different Klook experiences, and Cherry personally felt the Desert Safari was a bit of a letdown. But this Yellow Boats sightseeing tour was hands-down our absolute favorite! Seeing Atlantis and the Burj Al Arab from the water was breathtaking, and the whole speedboat experience was super unique. Finally, on our way back, our guide recommended one of his own personal favorite spots right next to where we disembarked: the Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites. Up on the 52nd floor of this Marriott is a fantastic scenic restaurant called the Observatory Bar & Grill.

The night view is just as stunning!

The restaurant offers two separate menus: a Bar Menu and a Grill Menu. Since we had lunch at the Al Mahara underwater restaurant in the Burj Al Arab earlier that day and were basically on the verge of bankruptcy 😭, we ended up opting for the more affordable Bar Menu. Honestly, for a restaurant with views this spectacular, the prices are really quite reasonable!

Plus, the food was way better than we expected! The best part was when we asked for the bill and realized we had perfectly timed our visit for Happy Hour! Yay for unexpected discounts! This scenic restaurant offers incredible value for money, and we highly recommend checking it out!

After eating and drinking to our hearts' content, we strolled back home under the beautiful night sky of Dubai Marina, putting a perfect end to our wonderful half-day itinerary!
